Job overview

A unique opportunity for an exceptional Head Teacher to help create a new outstanding International Primary School.

Competitive salary and generous benefits package, including accommodation and flights

Nahda International Academy is the vision of an exceptional, forward-thinking young woman based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

A licence has been granted by the Saudi Ministry to build a new, 600-pupil Primary School in Jeddah that will follow the British Curriculum, whilst ensuring harmony with the ethos and tradition of the Islamic culture.

The Operating Contractor for this exciting new project is GBESt, a British company formed by people with considerable educational experience.

One of our first tasks is to recruit a Head Teacher who will work closely with us on all aspects of opening this school: from recruitment of staff and liaising with architects on the new build, through to helping oversee every aspect of its start-up operation.

The school will open in September 2017 with Nursery, Reception and Year 1 in temporary accommodation, whilst the new build is taking place with the intention of opening fully in September 2018.

In line with local regulations, the Head Teacher will be female and should be able to start as soon as possible.

Ideally the candidate will have Head Teacher experience, although someone ready to move into that role would be considered.

Closing date: 9:00am on Tuesday, 20th December 2016.
