About Brentwood High School and Community College

Brentwood School is a Secondary School and College located in Trafford, Greater Manchester. The school provides places to around 100 pupils aged 11-18 in a co-educational setting, 30 of whom reside in the school sixth form, and all of whom have a Statement of Special Educational Need. The school caters for a wide range of learning difficulties and challenging behaviours, and offers provision for further education for some students aged 19-24 in the College. At Brentwood we acknowledge that every student has different strengths and weaknesses, interests and experiences and therefore the curriculum is adapted and differentiated to meet individual needs and circumstances. The curriculum is designed to be broad, balanced and relevant and includes the teaching of functional skills in every subject area.  Our aim is to equip each student with the essential skills that they will need for the future whilst ensuring their well-being.
