Job overview

Tettenhall College is a flourishing co-educational day and boarding school located in the village of Tettenhall, close to Wolverhampton.  Founded in 1863 on strong family and Christian values, the College provides a nurturing, supportive and personalised education to more than 400 pupils aged 2-18, ensuring every pupil achieves their personal best.

The College prides itself on its small class sizes that create a single inclusive community where everyone is valued equally, allowing every child to find their niche.  This communal, family-orientated atmosphere blends with rigorous academic standards and exceptional co-curricular opportunities to develop the whole person: spiritually, morally, socially and culturally.  Set in beautiful grounds with historic buildings and excellent facilities, Tettenhall College produces pupils who become well-rounded, confident adults ready to face the many challenges of life ahead.

The Governors of Tettenhall College are now looking for an exceptional leader to succeed David Williams as Head following a period of successful growth in pupil numbers.  This role offers the opportunity for an ambitious and far-sighted candidate to develop the strategic vision for the future development of one of the leading schools in the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will have an excellent track record in school leadership, be passionate about high quality teaching and learning, and be financially aware with proven experience of marketing and successful recruitment of pupils in the UK and internationally.
