Ruzawi School is advertising the position of Head.

The Board of Governors invites applications from suitably qualified educationalists, with exceptional leadership ability, for the position of Head to this prestigious 94-year old educational institution, to start in September2023/ January 2024.

The successful candidate will be required to have:

• Leadership in matters of education, pastoral care, child and staff safeguarding, finance and marketing.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with the Board of Governors and Directors, as well as Association of Trust Schools and Ministry of Education.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication and managerial skills.
• Ability to work closely with the school’s heads of department, promoting trust and support within the staff body.
• Strategic and visionary acumen and drive, linked closely to the school’s ethos and mission statement.
• International knowledge of best practice in education and boarding experience.
• Positive interaction with multiple stakeholders including pupils, parents and alumni.
• The necessary, relevant tertiary qualifications and have served at least 5 years in a senior position at a highly regarded institution.
• A sincere alignment and appropriate disposition to the Anglican values and ethos of the school would be an advantage.
