Headmaster's PA

This is an exciting role to support the leadership work of the Headmaster, in a lovely school location off the London Road in Knighton. 

As a leading girls’ independent school, we pride ourselves on offering a supportive, enriching  and creative environment for our students. 

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both orally and written, be proactive, work well under pressure and enjoy all aspects of organisational and administrative work.  She/he will have excellent people skills, be flexible, reliable and discreet.  Advanced skills in Microsoft Office are vital and training will be given on SIMS, the School’s information management system.

Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully supporting a Senior Leader; working in a school would be an advantage. 

This role is term time only plus 3 weeks.

Leicester High School is a well established day school for girls  located on a beautiful site, near to Leicester racecourse. The School has been based on this site for over 100 years, close to the shops and restaurants of leafy Stoneygate. Our location is well connected with excellent road links and just two miles from Leicester train station. 

Founded in 1906 as Portland House School, we now comprises a Junior Department of approximately 100 girls (3-9 years) and a Senior School of approximately 250 girls (10-18) sited on the same campus.

Our small size means everyone is someone at LHS and we pride ourselves on our family feel. We specialise in bringing out the very best in girls aged 3 to 18 and our School philosophy of Education, Confidence and Opportunity is key to all we do, from our Early Years to our outstanding Sixth Form.
