St Paul's is a popular Catholic school at the heart of its community with hard working staff and happy children. In September 2013, the school underwent a disappointing Ofsted inspection which graded the school as requiring Special Measures, having previously been judged Outstanding. Under the interim leadership of the Executive Head, the school is moving forward. The Governing Body is now seeking to appoint a Headteacher who will build on the progress made and lead us back to Outstanding.

We need a person who:

• is a committed and practising Catholic who lives his/her faith and can communicate this to others
• will develop strong links between parish, school and home
• is a successful leader who will model excellent practice and provide clear direction and vision
• has excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will enhance the quality of education and management in school
• is determined to see each child maximise their potential and can lead and motivate the whole school community in achieving this
