Aberdeen City is looking for an Executive Headteacher for 'The Centre of Excellence'

We are looking for an outstanding, inspirational leader with drive, commitment and ambition to lead our new Centre of Excellence. Our Centre will bring together two Aberdeen City Special Schools and an Early Years provision. It will house extensive outreach, training and multi-agency and community facilities.

We are looking for someone who sets the highest standards for themselves and others but is an enabler, with excellent interpersonal skills, a willingness to listen, reflect and see opportunities as they arise.

The post holder will work in partnership with colleagues in education, health, social work and the 3rd Sector to create an innovative and flexible learning environment and nurturing ethos where children and young people will flourish and be fulfilled and families can be supported.

The role of Executive Headteacher of the 'Centre of Excellence' offers an excellent opportunity for a leader to grow, develop and innovate in this unique and nurturing environment, making a significant and far reaching contribution to improving the outcomes for children, young people and their families in across Aberdeen.

The appointment will be subject to full registration with the General Teacher Council for Scotland (GTCS). The Council's Relocation Scheme will apply to new employees who move to Aberdeen.
