REACH School is an Alternative Provision school for students in years 10 and 11 based in Kings Heath. Our students come from schools throughout the South Area Network and beyond. We provide a tailored education for students who would benefit from a more personalised learning journey.

At REACH our school aims are for all students to be Respectful, Employable, Aspirational, Courageous and Happy.

These are underpinned in our teaching and learning, Active Citizenship and throughout the school environment. These instil an understanding in pupils about what they need to do to be a good member of our school community and to support them in life after Reach. We challenge our students to exceed their own expectations by setting targets at the highest level.

Students complete Active Citizenship weekly where they push their boundaries and enjoy a huge range of activities. Year 10 students also spend one day a week completing Work Related Learning for real world qualifications.

Together we form a friendly, inclusive and dedicated community that celebrate our students and encourage them to be successful in their goals.

Through our embedded safeguarding practices, we support our students and their families whatever the needs and circumstances. Our families feel secure in trusting us to support, guide and educate their children in an environment that puts the individual needs of the students at the centre of everything that takes place.
