Kingsbury High School is a large, successful secondary school serving a diverse community in North London. Student performance at GCSE and A Level is consistently above the national average. However, we are a school who value achievement beyond examination results and we offer a range of enrichment opportunities allowing our students to develop and achieve in many different ways.
We are ambitious and keen to respond strategically to the evolving educational landscape, both locally and nationally, whilst retaining our ethos which is one of togetherness – warmth, openness, inclusivity and treating people with respect. We have taken a decision, in principle, to move to a school within a school model. Our aim is to bring a more personalised approach and a greater sense of community and togetherness. We are seeking an emotionally intelligent school leader to work with us and skilfully navigate the School through the next stage of its development. Potential school expansion and a major building project is also being considered.
With a track record of successful school leadership, you will have an educational philosophy and a personal value set that matches our own. You will be comfortable working with and influencing a broad range of individuals and organisations both within and outside of the School. Your interpersonal skills are likely to be seen as a strength and will set you apart from others.
We care deeply about delivering the highest quality of education for our young people. If you think you can build on our strengths and lead further success then download full details on the role at www.pentir.com/kingsburyhigh . The School is committed to safeguarding children and successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
