The Trustees, staff and pupils of Furness Primary School are seeking a dynamic and inspirational leader to guide the school forward to becoming an Outstanding School. 

The Person:

  • Will have a proven and extensive track record of working in a diverse primary school setting with natural problem solving abilities and a resolute focus on achieving and maintaining outstanding standards of achievement for all pupils.
  • Will be an innovative leader with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Has experience in developing and maintaining a systems led approach to school management.
  • Expects the highest possible standards from all pupils, staff and members of the wider school community.
  • Is committed to and passionate about developing children’s learning.

As of 1st April 2016, Furness Primary School and Oakington Manor Primary School joined the Excellence in Education Trust, making both schools into an academy.
