Headteacher

Due to the retirement of their current Headteacher Lyon Park wishes to appoint a new substantive Headteacher to lead our ambitious, forward looking school. Lyon Park Primary School is a larger than average 4 form entry Primary, serving a richly diverse community in North West London. Following a long and successful federation, the infant and junior schools were recently amalgamated creating a cohesive team and delivering substantial refurbishment.

Our School is proud to have a caring and inclusive approach and a strong belief in ‘learning and growing together’. Our ideal candidate will be a capable and energetic leader looking for a new challenge in a busy primary environment.

You will be passionate about demonstrating the following:

• Driving up standards and securing the best possible outcomes for pupils
• Building on leadership structures to ensure excellent teaching throughout the school
• Supporting the development of the governing board to ensure it plays a full part in the ongoing improvement of the school
• Ability to positively engage, communicate with and develop a large staff both as a body and as individuals
• A proven ability in school improvement planning and engaging stakeholders in the process
• Confidence to deal with safeguarding issues
• Has a track record of and commitment to engaging with parents and the wider community
