Headteacher

Brynteg Comprehensive School is a Green 1A school which is situated close to junction 35 of the M4 motorway. The school serves a wide catchment area and is a well-respected and popular local school with approximately 1511 children on roll and approximately 400 in the sixth form.  We are seeking a Headteacher with a clear vision to continue the drive for high standards in the school following its recent inspection. You will provide leadership to the school to maintain its success and to ensure high quality education for all pupils and to continue to raise standards of achievement.  As an experienced Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, school leader or education professional you will have management experience with proven leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills. You will be committed to work in partnership with pupils, staff, parents and governors, and the local community to provide an environment in which staff and pupils are supported in achieving their full potential.  Applicants applying for their first Headteacher appointment must hold the NPQH.
