St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a thriving two-form entry school in Beckenham, within the London Borough of Bromley, with 422 pupils on roll. For over 50 years, our school has been at the heart of the Catholic communities of St Edmund’s, St Mark’s and Our Lady of the Rosary. Our Gospel values of tolerance, respect and service are embedded within our mission statement and are reflected in every aspect of school life.

Our motto, “Onwards and Upwards”, captures the unwavering commitment of the whole school community to providing a high-quality education within a nurturing and stimulating environment. We are seeking a confident, innovative and inspirational Headteacher who can build upon our strong foundations, while having the courage and insight to lead change where needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to foster positive relationships across the school community and participate fully in the wider life of the school and Trust.

This appointment comes at an exciting point in our journey, as St Mary’s becomes part of the St Benedict Catholic Academy Trust from January 2027, offering significant opportunities for collaboration, professional growth and system leadership.
