About us

Long Crendon is a school that its whole community is proud of. It has a strong values-based education culture, happy children and an Ofsted Outstanding judgement. It is a combined school with single form entry at the heart of the village of Long Crendon.

The last two years have been the most difficult the school has experienced. All schools shared the pressures that the pandemic has brought, and Long Crendon School has continued to deliver a strong, flexible and well-received education during a period that has inevitably had an impact on our pupils, staff and the wider community. At the same time, with the last Ofsted inspection being in 2008, Long Crendon has been actively preparing for the much anticipated (but yet to happen) return visit.

We’re now ready to consolidate all of this work and move the school further forward, committed to ensuring that the school remains “The Place to Grow” for all children, under the leadership of an experienced, engaging and resilient new leader for the whole school community.
