The Governing Body of the newly formed Rhymney 3-18 Learning Community is seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Executive Headteacher for an exciting opportunity to develop and lead an all through English medium school for pupils aged 3-18 on one purposely built campus, mainly serving the local communities of Rhymney, Abertysswg, Fochriw, Philipstown, Ponltlottyn and New Tredegar.
The 3-18 campus includes an attractive, modern and well maintained secondary learning phase with a capacity for 1185 pupils; a newly built state of the art school that has capacity for 240 primary age pupils together with 30 nursery places and an Integrated Children’s Centre, hosting Flying Start.
Governors see this as an exciting challenge for an enthusiastic and skilful strategic leader who:

The Governors will provide good support for the successful candidate who will demonstrate a strong commitment to working closely with them to provide high quality leadership and the best possible education for children.

Interviews will be held on: 25th and 26th September 2017
