The Trustees and Governors of this well established and highly successful 11-18 girls’ Catholic School invite applications for the post of Headteacher.

The vacancy arises due to the retirement in August 2017 of the current post holder.

The post offers an outstanding opportunity to lead a vibrant, happy and high achieving school in the London Borough of Camden.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, practising Catholic, with proven leadership experience who:

  • can sustain and develop the Catholic ethos of the school in every aspect of its activities
  • can empathise with young people of all abilities and motivate each one to achieve her or his full potential
  • is an outstanding classroom practitioner who is able to inspire others by example
  • has a commitment to promote the well-being of all members of the LSU school community
  • can lead and motivate a large body of staff in all aspects of school management
  • is innovative, with sound judgement and good communication skills
  • can represent the school in the community and the wider context with confidence.
