An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic and inspiring head teacher, following the coming retirement of our excellent head teacher. Chester Blue Coat CE Primary School is a successful school, with a nurturing Christian ethos serving a vibrant, diverse community in the centre of the historic city of Chester. The school has a long and proud history reaching back to 1700 and is now located in a new building with modern facilities.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner with proven leadership experience, who is passionate about educating and supporting children to become independent, aspirational individuals who contribute positively in a fast-changing world. A commitment to working closely with families and the wider community will be vital.

Chester Blue Coat CE Primary School is committed to the safeguarding of all our students and staff.  The successful candidate will be bound by the school’s safeguarding children processes, undertake safeguarding training as necessary and all appointments are subject to Enhanced Disclosure and Barring checks from the DBS. All candidates will be expected to provide sources for two professional and one faith references.
