We are excited to be seeking a passionate, dedicated and energetic senior leader to become the new Headteacher of our amazing special school. Heatherwood is a highly successful and relentlessly child-centred school for children and young people with profound and multiple learning needs and complex special educational needs.

Heatherwood is an academy within Nexus Multi Academy Trust and serves 83 amazing children and young people from EYFS through to Key Stage 5 across two sites, who are very well supported by a highly dedicated and hard-working team of professionals.

At Heatherwood, our vision is that we will become a recognised centre of excellence for pupils with profound, multiple or severe learning difficulties and associated medical conditions from 0-25 years.   •  Excellent management and organisational skills.
