Job overview

The Governing Body of Oldfield Primary School are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and forward thinking Headteacher to join their School at a pivotal stage in its development.

Oldfield Primary is a vibrant, happy and friendly school where the children are highly rewarding to teach and respond extremely well to encouragement. It is a good school with amazing outdoor spaces that belie its busy urban setting. The school benefits from a robust pragmatic attitude to change, essential in today’s educational landscape! Imposition of the new National Curriculum was embraced as an opportunity to overhaul the approach to subject delivery ensuring lessons remained creative and exciting.

The creative curriculum aims to offer a wonderfully rich and stimulating learning environment in which each child can grow, develop and reach their full potential, thereby enriching society as a whole. It is modelled on 21st century style learning whilst embedding our school values, and adding a touch of ‘magic and sparkle’.

Oldfield Primary School enables children to flourish and become lifelong learners and is intent on preparing them for limitless futures.

This is an exceptional opportunity for the new Headteacher to continue their professional development whilst leading Oldfield Primary School on the next stage of its journey.
