The governors at Mayfield Primary School are excited to be recruiting for a new headteacher, following the retirement in 2023 of our successful and long-standing head. This is a unique opportunity to lead a fantastic team through the next exciting chapter for the school. Mayfield Primary School is a 2-form entry school with Nursery provision from age 3. It is situated in a large area of green space near the river Brent, providing a wonderful space for outdoor learning and play. Mayfield has a staff team committed to high standards of behaviour, achievement and creativity. In September 2018 we moved into an amazing new school boasting new technologies and a variety of rooms that enable us to deliver an exciting curriculum! 

We are seeking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and creative Headteacher for September 2023, who can drive innovation and enhance pupils’ academic achievement and opportunities for personal development. Well-being of staff and children and community cohesion are fundamental to our vision of success at Mayfield.    

Mayfield is a Group 3 Inner London Area School; salary range L18-24*; £75,732-£85,535. The starting salary is dependent on experience.
