Cuckoo Hall Academy is a four form entry primary academy with over 900 pupils, serving a diverse community. We were one of the first primary schools to convert to academy status in 2010, and are part of the Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust (CHAT), who sponsor four primary schools and a secondary in the area.  

Our vision is to help all children develop the skills, knowledge and understanding they need to develop at all stages of their education and equip them to have high aspirations for their future. 

We look to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and valued. Our dedicated staff, work hard to achieve this, raise aspiration and provide the best possible opportunities in a safe and happy school environment. The support of parents / carers and the wider community is key to the Academy and it strives to maintain an open and welcoming environment to enable partnership working.  

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and visionary individual who can lead us through our next stage of development and beyond. You will not need to work alone. We have committed hard-working staff within the Academy, a broader network to share ideas and good practice with other CHAT Academies and a support team at the centre of the Trust with back office specialists in finance, HR, Communications and IT. With the right Academy leader, we are confident that we can be an exceptional place of learning and can transform the opportunities for our children.  No more than they deserve.
