We are looking for an inspirational leader with high expectations, who is driven by a commitment to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential. You will enjoy the full support of a dedicated and talented team in our lively and successful school.
RE-ADVERTISED POSITION: North West Academies Trust and the Governing Body of Ellesmere Primary School, Shropshire, are seeking a dynamic leader for the 396 pupils and 61 staff at our successful two-form entry primary school. Our current Headteacher retires in April 2018, having successfully led the school to a good Ofsted rating in May 2016 and academisation in September 2016.
We have a dedicated staff team that are determined to provide outstanding academic and pastoral standards on behalf of our pupils and parents. There is a nursery onsite with 64 places, a children’s centre and we are also blessed with our very own swimming pool! You would be joining us at an exciting part of our journey as the school competes for a £4.5 million CIF bid to reconfigure and redevelop our current buildings, and help drive Ellesmere Primary to be the first choice school in Shropshire.
You will have the humour, dedication and commitment needed to get the best from people. Our school needs a Headteacher with empathy and understanding who will lead from the front and ensure that all staff are inspired to get the best from each child. Standards in the school are improving and we are looking forward to employing a top quality, inspirational leader to support us in our journey to become a truly outstanding school.
About North West Academies Trust
