The King’s School, Gloucester is seeking an ambitious and dynamic Head to succeed Alistair Macnaughton after 10 years of excellent service.
As one of the seven prestigious Cathedral Schools, founded by King Henry VIII in 1541, King’s Gloucester is one of the leading independent schools in the region. This day school for girls and boys aged 3-18 has around 580 pupils and is dedicated to providing an education centred on traditional values, whilst embracing modern methods and ideas.
The link with the Gloucester Cathedral adds to the powerful feeling of community that is at the heart of the School. Pastoral care is excellent and is central to the ethos of King’s.
