Headteacher

Due to the retirement of our current Head, the Governing Board is seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Headteacher with the passion, vision and resilience to lead our school and drive progress so that all our children reach their full potential.   

West Hill Primary is a two form entry school, situated in the centre of Wandsworth, London and provides a well resourced and vibrant learning environment for our children. Our school has a strong community feel and nurtures positive relationships with parents, carers and the wider community to ensure that everyone feels welcome and supported. 

Our values ‘Ready to learn, inspired to succeed, prepared for life’ underpin the ethos of West Hill Primary school and give every child the opportunity to learn, achieve and succeed through our focus to provide a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment.  

At the heart of West Hill’s practice, policy and ethos is the UNICEF Rights-Respecting school award. Our rights-respecting school not only teaches about children’s rights but also models rights and respect in all its relationships.   

West Hill offers our new Headteacher a welcoming and stimulating working environment. You will be responsible for the leadership and strategic management to the school, including our Children’s Centre, Enhanced Children Centre and 2 year old provision, striving for  achievement of the highest possible standards of education for our whole school.
