Princess May is a lively and diverse two-form entry primary school located in the London borough of Hackney, right in the heart of a thriving, vibrant and exciting urban community. The school was judged to be “Good” following our Ofsted inspection in October 2017.

We are looking for an experienced school leader to guide us as we embark on an exciting new stage of our journey. With our current Headteacher due to retire, we are looking for a new Headteacher to build on our achievements and engage and inspire the school community to excel. About Princess May Primary School

Princess May is a two-form entry school in a vibrant area of the London Borough of Hackney, situated between Stoke Newington and Dalston. We currently have 190 pupils on roll, including a nursery,  a high number of which are eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant. The school is fully inclusive, with very strong community support and engagement. A strong teaching and learning team ensure that each child reaches their full potential, regardless of background or economic barriers. This is our core purpose.

The school is close to excellent transport links, including Dalston Kingsland, Hackney Downs and Stoke Newington. There are many local amenities and a host of international restaurants and cafes to enjoy at lunch time and after work.
