Our children come from truly diverse backgrounds and speak many different languages.

We are one of eight schools within the Primary Advantage Federation. The Federation has allowed us to grow as a school but still maintain our distinct and unique identity. Our Local Advisory Board (LAB) ensures that Holy Trinity makes decisions that are best for the school and its community.

We are looking for a confident and experienced school leader who can continue to inspire our children and engage positively with members of our school community.  We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong motivation to ensure the school maintains its outstanding status.

Values and vision

The school’s approach is entwined with its Christian outlook. In the spirit of “do to others as you would have them do unto you”, Holy Trinity aims to establish a clear understanding of rights and responsibilities for all. It also prides itself on providing secure yet thriving educational surroundings which can inspire pupils and staff alike, and on instilling an ethos in children that will stand them in good stead for the future.

Maths is an important and engagingly taught subject in all Primary Advantage schools. Pupils first learn by using objects such as counters and beads, before moving on to pictorial representations such as charts.

Ofsted

“Pupils learn and develop their skills rapidly. Teachers are able to track accurately how well pupils are doing, and what they need to learn next. Pupils are encouraged to check their own learning by talking to their partners. They also regularly highlight their targets to indicate if they have achieved them, or if they still need to work at them.”
