The Urswick School is an oversubscribed 11-19 Secondary School in the centre of Hackney.
We are looking to appoint a Headteacher who is a visionary leader, passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive school culture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, the personal development of students, and the wellbeing of staff. With strong leadership skills, they should be able to inspire, motivate, and empower both students and educators to achieve their best.
The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of educational trends, the ability to manage change effectively, and a proactive approach to safeguarding. They should also be a strong communicator, able to build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community. Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to the values of the school are essential.
This individual should be adaptable, forward-thinking, and open to new ideas, while also ensuring that the school remains grounded in its core values and mission.
