Oakfield Primary School is situated in Widnes, Cheshire and is within easy reach of Liverpool, Manchester and Chester, with excellent links to the motorway network.
The School is a community primary school with approximately 282 children on roll, (with a published admission number of 40) for children aged from 3 to 11 years. The School was judged as “Good”, by Ofsted in its most recent inspection in February 2016. The School incorporates a nursery class which provides places for up to 52 fte. There are two resource based classes, one in Keystage 1 and one in Keystage 2 which specialise in speech, language and communication.
Situated in attractive grounds with extensive playing fields, the School serves the community in which it is located with great commitment and pride. The School has gone through an extensive upgrading of facilities in the past few years.
The School provides a stimulating, learning environment where the highest standards are promoted, and inclusion is embedded. The children enjoy their education and the breadth of experiences offered.
