Are you a remarkable leader that wants more?
More opportunity to take our academy from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ and inspire children to choose a REMARKABLE LIFE.
Age range: 11-16
Winton Community Academy is in Andover, situated in the county of Hampshire. Winton is part of a family of schools brought together by one common vision and passionate belief that each and every child can lead a remarkable life. An excellent education transforms lives and every pupil who attends one of our schools is given the support, care and opportunity they need to flourish. Which is where you come in.
Winton Community Academy is a 11-16 academy, with 753 pupils on role. Since converting to an AET academy in November 2012, Winton Community Academy under the leadership of the current Headteacher has gone from strength to strength. Winton Community Academy has been recognised by Ofsted as a ‘good’ school.
The current Head has secured a promotion within the Trust to Executive Secondary Director and Winton will continue to be under his remit moving forward. This role would suit a Deputy Headteacher looking to start their first Headship in a supportive and collaborative environment, or an existing Headteacher who feels they have the drive, expertise and skills to lead the academy to future success.
You will be joining the leading inclusive educational trust in the country - one where you have more opportunities to forge your own path, where your work is truly valued and where you will receive the recognition and rewards to motivate you to build on your achievements.
