Pembury House is a state maintained Nursery School with a Children’s Centre on site. This happy, well-established early years setting, rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted serves a vibrant and diverse community in Tottenham, Haringey, North London. We provide joyful, inspiring and innovative early years education for 2 – 4 year olds, as well as offering a range of services to support families with young children. Our inclusive environment has a strong nurturing, learning culture where everyone feels valued.We believe that high quality nursery education can transform the lives of young children, and that children become curious, willing learners by immersing themselves in an inquiry based programme full of meaningful experiences. Our pedagogical influences come from the Reggio Emilia and Forest School approaches, plus we are a Natural Thinkers School with an Eco Schools Green Flag and ‘growing’ gardens. 

As our next Headteacher you will:

•  Be an exceptional school leader with high aspirations and a track record of achieving excellent outcomes for young children. We welcome applications from Senior Leaders looking to transition to Headship.
• Be a strategic thinker, with the determination, energy and passion to build on excellent foundations for further success, and with the ability to effectively manage change and support well-being
• Have the ability to nurture the friendly, skilled and professional team, and work together with them to ensure that Pembury continues to have a special place in the heart of the Tottenham community
