Harnham Junior School caters for children aged 7-11 years. There are currently eleven classes with the four year groups working collaboratively to plan and deliver a rich, engaging and relevant curriculum. We also have a breakfast club and after school club to provide wrap around care.

The school is set in spacious grounds with excellent facilities including six modern classrooms opened in January 2020, a large hall and rooms for music teaching and small group work. The extensive playing field has beautiful views across the city to the world famous cathedral. The feeder infant school is adjacent allowing opportunities for sharing facilities. 

Our school is committed to an inclusive approach to teaching and has a track record of raising attainment with vulnerable groups led by an experienced SENCO, PSA and specialist admin team.

As a Church School we aim to develop Christian values and foster a kind and caring attitude towards other people and respect for their beliefs following the example of the Good Samaritan.
