Our school is about so much more than just results. Everything we do is underpinned by our Catholic faith, and we work in partnership with parents and the Church to provide opportunities to develop the spirituality of our children. Our mission Statement, ‘Learning and growing together through prayer, belief and love’ is at the heart of our Catholic ethos which permeates all areas of school life.

  • a highly effective teacher and leader of learning, with experience of delivering a broad, rich and varied curriculum that meets the needs of every pupil
  • a genuine commitment to team working and the development of all of our staff

We can offer the successful candidate:

  • Children who are committed, enthusiastic and fully engaged in their learning.
  • Professional and dedicated staff and active Governors.
  • Excellent opportunities for further professional development.
  • Strong support from parents, Governors and the Catholic community
Visits to the school (following social distancing guidelines) are encouraged and warmly welcomed. If you think this exciting opportunity is for you, the Governors look forward to meeting you and receiving your application.

About St Anselm's Catholic Primary School

Our Mission Statement

Learning and growing together
Through prayer, belief and love.

As a Catholic school, Christ’s teaching is at the centre of everything we do. Every person; the pupils, parents, governors and staff; contributes to create our living, witnessing Christian community.

As a school we are especially concerned with learning. Learning should be enjoyable. We aim to motivate the children through quality teaching and a stimulating environment to enable them to become independent learners, and to promote learning through many first hand experiences.

We aim to promote a climate of high expectations in both the academic and social aspects of learning.

We recognise that everyone is equal in the eyes of God and that each pupil has equal worth. So we aim to encourage all to be positive about their own identity and uniqueness.

St Anselm’s Catholic Primary School is within a ten minutes walk of Harrow-on-the-Hill station and just over half-an-hour from the centre of London. The area has good transport services.
