Due to the retirement of our dynamic and inspirational Headteacher we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated leader who will enable our confident pupils to maintain personal and academic high standards, underpinned by a strong Catholic ethos.

Our section 48 report said: “Sacred Heart is an outstanding Catholic school where the mission and ethos of Catholic education underpins all the school does.”

Sacred Heart is a vibrant welcoming school with a well established leadership structure in place. Our popular oversubscribed school has high academic results with a superb record of sporting achievement. The school is supported by a flourishing Parents Association, the commitment of our Parish Priest and a dedicated and cohesive Board of Governors.

Our last Ofsted report said: “...attainment is substantially above the national average. This represents outstanding achievement.” “The attitude that pupils have towards their schoolwork is exemplary.” “...teachers use inspirational ways to capture pupil’s interest.”
