What we are looking for

Brindishe Manor is a two form entry primary school within our Brindishe Federation of three ofsted-rated outstanding schools who are formally joined together in a successful and happy partnership.

With 480 children who learn in a responsible and considerate way, this is one of the most popular local schools for children aged 3-11 years. The atmosphere at Brindishe Manor is quiet and calm and the school lives in a traditionally designed school building that dates from the turn of the century in Lewisham SE London.

Brindishe Manor is a maintained Local Authority school which is strong, diverse, forward looking and vibrant. To our community, to all of our children, staff and parents and carers you will be their Headteacher – the pivotal person, their go-to person and the strength of the school responsible for all day to day running of Brindishe Manor.

Working to our newly appointed Executive Head of the Federation, and our tri-school Governing Body, with your SLT you will lead 70+ talented, committed and highly-skilled staff including enlightened and talented teachers and an expansive and agile support staff. You will work alongside the Headteachers of Brindishe Lee School and Brindishe Green School sharing ideas and strengths and bringing the best possible opportunities to all of the children in our federation.

As well as welcoming and celebrating diversity and pursuing high standards of achievement and academic excellence, above all we value inclusion, creativity and the joy of learning. Everything we do is driven by the three Brindishe Schools’ motto ‘together we are more’.

Ofsted report

“The achievement of all groups of pupils is outstanding and has improved significantly since the previous inspection. The proportions of pupils including more able pupils making and exceeding expected progress by the end of Year 6 are high, compared with national figures. By the time pupils leave, they are exceptionally well prepared for their time in secondary school”.
