Due to the retirement of our current Headteacher; the Governing Body, School Staff and Children of this four-form entry Junior school in the London Borough of Hillingdon are looking for a dedicated, inspirational, and experienced leader to help us in the next stage of our journey.
Situated in the southern part of the borough, Yeading Junior is a community school serving the culturally diverse community of Hayes and is currently graded as Good by Ofsted in 2018. We are recognised as a ‘School of Character’ and are one of the regional hubs for Character Education.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an existing Headteacher or an aspiring Deputy Headteacher looking for a first Headship. To be successful in your application you will already have proven experience in managing whole school responsibilities; as well as the ability to:
- Think strategically to build upon, and continue our school vision of excellence, including setting and managing ambitious and challenging targets for pupils and staff.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including pupils, parents, the wider community, and external stakeholders.
- Exemplify the ethos, values, and vision of our school for all members of the school community.
