St. Andrew’s is a thriving and oversubscribed single-form entry Church of England Primary School. We are a caring, high achieving school which upholds strong Christian values. Our vision is to deliver a high quality, relevant and balanced curriculum which enables all children to reach their full potential. At a recent Ofsted inspection the school was rated “Good”.

We aim to enable each child to grow in confidence, self esteem and spiritual awareness whilst fostering an understanding and respect for others. We seek to develop enquiring, independent and creative minds, within a loving and secure environment.

We are looking for a new Headteacher who will be

• Able to demonstrate successful experience of a leadership role within a Primary School.
• A leader who can inspire, motivate and challenge staff, children and parents alike.
• Passionate about each child being given the opportunity and means to reach their full potential.
• Able to develop vision and set the strategic direction for the school

All this will flow from a Christian faith and an understanding that every child is precious to God.

Our new Headteacher will have the opportunity to lead a school community that is caring, supportive and committed.
