About the role
We envisage the new Headteacher starting on 1st January 2024, with flexibility depending on the successful candidate’s availability.
We are looking for a Headteacher who will develop and manage Holtspur School & Pre-School (“the school”) effectively and efficiently, providing clear vision and positive, incisive and purposeful leadership and educational direction for the school.
The successful candidate will ensure the highest possible quality of education, range of educational opportunities and standards of attainment for all pupils.
About you
Education and Qualifications:
- Degree and qualified to Teacher status, currently on leadership scale
- Evidence of recent and relevant personal professional development
- Possess NPQH or is at least working towards it
Experience:
- Substantial experience of successful classroom teaching in at least 2 key stages
- Substantial experience as a head, deputy head or assistant head in a Primary setting
- Evidence of leading curriculum areas and initiatives and up to date knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Experience of working with children with SEN
