We are looking for an aspirational leader to inject innovation, flair and creativity in our journey to becoming an Outstanding School.

We are seeking a senior leader who is able to demonstrate strategic leadership skills and experience, preferably in whole school projects which show a measurable benefit to your setting.

This is a unique opportunity to work in one of Kent's largest Junior schools. We are seeking a forward thinking Headteacher or an experienced senior leader to expand the Academy’s position, whilst maximising our current success to be the best we can be. You will have the opportunity to work with our enthusiastic and nurturing staff, develop our curriculum further to inspire creativity and inject an aspirational atmosphere within the whole school.

We believe in letting our children shine and we encourage them to do so through our extensive range of extracurricular activities. The numerous sports teams excel in local competitions and our music and arts thrive with regular opportunities for the children to sing and perform in assemblies, school shows and external concerts.

Joydens Wood Junior School is based in a friendly community environment. We work closely with the local church, sporting clubs and other local schools including Joydens Wood Infant School, with which we share a site. We are expanding the school and are now 3 form entry, which will require the school to expand the building and facilities and also increase our PAN.
