Job overview

Kilburn Grange School opened in September 2015 as a primary free school for pupils aged 4-11 years old and serving the Kilburn community in Brent. Kilburn Grange School is part of the Bellevue Place Education Trust.

A non-selective, non-denominational, co-educational school, Kilburn Grange School welcomes children of all abilities from all backgrounds. The BPET vision is for all pupils to receive a broad and balanced curriculum that combines academic rigour with highly enriched opportunities that deliver a personalised approach to education and exceptional outcomes for all.

Kilburn Grange School has been judged by OfSTED to be a Good school in July 2018 and is popular with parents. The school has a high proportion of EAL student (74%), Pupil Premium (52%) and SEND (16%). Currently a one form entry school, but has two bulge classes in years 4 and 5. Kilburn Grange was originally a two form entry school but due to a lack of outside space the PAN was reduced however, this has provided the pupils with the opportunity to have two halls, a dedicated Art room, library and a Computing suite. This is an excellent opportunity for the new Head Teacher to lead the school with a clear direction within a committed and supportive staffing team.

We are seeking an experienced senior leader in the primary sector; you will have a strong track record in leadership and core learning. Capable of interpreting, developing and implementing the BPET education vision, your excellent communication skills will be vital in promoting the school to the community and delivering a high standard of education through a broad and balanced curriculum.

In return, you will get the chance to lead a school, in an exciting and unique school building and ensure that every element is optimised to deliver outstanding teaching and learning. Furthermore, you will receive unparalleled access to support and to career advancement through our network of schools and development programmes.

Bellevue Place Educational Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its children and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment. All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and where applicable, a prohibition check will be completed for all applicants.
