Northcott is a Specialist School (Communication and Interaction) for 115 pupils
aged 5-16, whose primary learning difficulty is Speech, Language and Communication Needs. Most pupils are working at levels P8 - level 4. In addition, we have an increasing number of pupils who have behavioural, emotional and medical needs.
The school is dynamic and forward thinking and is highly regarded by parents. Pupils really enjoy coming to school and they thrive in an atmosphere where staff have high expectations of how they will achieve and behave. The school has undergone an extensive refurbishment programme which will provide exciting further development for the school.
The governors are seeking to appoint an exceptional leader who has the ability to lead and manage our thriving school. We require an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills who will enthuse, challenge, support and motivate pupils, staff and parents. We expect that our Headteacher will fulfill the aspirations of the governing body to further improve the quality of teaching and learning as well as developing proactive partnerships in the local community.
Visits to the school are encouraged to arrange a time please email the chair of governors – Mr Kevin I’Anson (firstname.lastname@example.org)
