Thornhill Junior and Infant School is a large school within easy distance of Dewsbury town centre. It is a ‘good’ school, with outstanding music provision with the drive and ambition to become outstanding overall. We are looking for a talented school leader who will take on the challenge and help us to achieve our aims.

We are seeking an experienced school leader who can demonstrate tangible impact from their work. You will:

• be dedicated to developing a learning environment where children can grow in confidence, achieve, succeed and thrive,
• have an excellent understanding of how to meet the needs of our unique school community;
• know how to work closely with a strong team of professionals to deliver excellent pedagogy, curriculum and assessment; and
• be able to deliver accelerated pupil progress.
