The Governors of Bluebell Park School are looking to recruit a full time Headteacher. Applications are invited from an exceptional, motivated and inspirational individual with a proven track record of successful school leadership in the field of special educational needs.

Bluebell Park is a vibrant, dynamic, purpose built special school that opened in September 2012. Pupils at Bluebell Park have severe learning difficulties and may also have complex needs including autistic spectrum condition, physical or medical conditions. All pupils who attend our school have a Statement of Educational Needs or Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCP).

We educate children aged 3-19 offering part time places for nursery aged children (3-4) and a full time Post 16 curriculum (16-19).

We work closely as part of a multi-agency team and have a fully integrated service on site (Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Family First). Bluebell Park is part of the Knowsley Special Needs Sector and also a member of the Greater Merseyside SLD network which consists of 15 schools.
