The Governing Board of Lytham St Annes Technology and Performing Arts College is seeking to appoint an exceptional Headteacher to lead our vibrant and inclusive school. (Currently 1409 on roll) The Governors expect to employ an experienced teacher and leader who can demonstrate the impact of her/his dynamic and innovative leadership and who has business acumen/skills, to take up the post in January 2018.  Our school is a Foundation with Trust School located in Lytham St Annes on the beautiful Lancashire coast.  The school has many strengths not least its leadership team and its dedicated staff.  In March 2017 the school successfully retained its “Good” status following an OFSTED inspection. The report highlighted some of the school’s many strengths, for example:  

  • The staff team provides a caring, supportive and well-structured learning environment where pupils feel safe, happy and academically challenged.  
  • Pupils [are] polite and courteous to teachers and to each other. They listen carefully and work hard. 
  • Teachers use the school’s robust systems and regular assessment information to plan work which enables all pupils to achieve at an appropriate level.
