We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Headteacher who will drive forward high academic standards and uphold the strong Christian character of our school. Governors are looking for a leader who will embrace opportunities to maximise the potential of our one-form entry church school situated in an attractive north east suburb of Leeds with excellent transport links from the north and south.

The successful candidate will:

  • provide strong and aspirational leadership to will be able to guide us on our journey;
  • have a strong and robust track record of driving improvement in schools to build on success;
  • be an excellent educator and communicator, committed to delivering the highest standards in teaching and learning;
  • have high expectations for achievement across a full range of subjects and extra-curricular activity;
  • further develop and inspire leadership in the school;
  • a commitment to promoting and encouraging professional development for all staff;
  • be able to create sustained partnerships with pupils, staff, parents, Governors, the Church and the wider education community;
  • promote and develop the Christian character and values of the school; and
  • ensure that the school’s distinctive Christian ethos continues to be firmly embedded in all that we do.
