Values and vision

Banovallum School wants all students to follow their interests and passions and in return, develop a love of learning. It wants pupils to grow into confident young adults who are well-equipped for a future in a modern society. The secondary school practices four key elements in every lesson: spiritual, moral, social and cultural – installing an open and accepting attitude in pupils, encouraging them to be active ‘citizens of the world’.  Community is important to the school, and its facilities, including the playing fields and sports hall, are let out to local organisations and private parties in the Lincolnshire area.

Banovallum School offers a range of extra-curricular programmes to allow for students to experience new challenges and develop their skills in a wide range of subject areas.

Ofsted

“Achievement in English over time has been a significant strength of the school; the proportion of students making and exceeding expected progress in English has been well above the national average. Lessons are characterised by positive and supportive relationships between staff and students. Teachers promote a calm and purposeful learning environment and students respond well to these expectations”.
