Headteacher

Our current Headteacher is retiring. The governors at St. Augustine’s wish to appoint a new Headteacher who has the skills and values to build on the school’s current success, marked as outstanding by Ofsted.

St. Augustine’s is a one form entry Catholic primary school in the parish of St. Augustine’s in Hammersmith, London. It is a warm and welcoming school with long serving staff and supportive parents and governors.

We are looking for an experienced Head or Deputy Head who is willing to continue the outstanding work yet be unafraid to pursue new goals to always improve and better the school.  The new Head must be an inspiring leader to both staff and children with proven management skills.

We are looking for a Head who will inspire and guide the children and staff. A Head who will persevere to ensure that all children are given the opportunity to achieve to the best of their ability and provide them with a well rounded education.

The new Head should support and guide, together with the senior leadership team, the staff to ensure the school is constantly attaining academic excellence. They should continue to build on the partnership developed with neighbouring schools and maintain links with the parish and parents / carers.

St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and visitors to share this commitment. This post will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).
