ISR L19 - 25 (£61,339 - £71,053)
Required for September 2018

Newminster Middle School is part of The Three Rivers Learning Trust which provides education in the Morpeth and Rothbury area and also consists of Abbeyfields First School, Chantry Middle School and The King Edward VI High School. The Trust will expand further in 2018 to include Harbottle Church of England First School, Thropton First School and Dr Thomlinson Church of England Middle School.

Our schools have a rich and successful history and continue to be a central part of our local and regional community. As a converter, multi academy trust (December 2011), we aim to build upon our successes whilst valuing our heritage, to ensure that our students are well prepared to succeed in the twenty first century.

Newminster Middle School is a popular and oversubscribed school situated in Morpeth with 512 students, aged 9 to 13, on role. Our schools have shared values and priorities. A single Board of Directors is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of The Three Rivers Learning Trust and an Academy Council for each school ensures effective local governance.

The Trust is also looking to appoint a Headteacher to Chantry Middle School and applications from candidates interested in the Middle School vacancies should list whether they would like to be considered for both schools.

Please visit the school’s website for further details about this post and to download a recruitment pack. (www.the3rivers.net/about-us/careers).

Closing Date for applications: 12 noon, Thursday 19 April 2018
