Due to our current Headteacher relocating, the Governors are seeking to appoint a new enthusiastic and inspirational Headteacher who has a clear vision, strong leadership and energy to build upon the school’s achievements.
Sir John Heron is a very successful two-form entry community school with a Resource Provision for PMLD children and a nursery. We are looking for a leader who will inspire children, staff, parents and governors and motivate them to achieve outstanding status and ensure the best possible outcomes for every child in the school.
Our school has extremely well behaved and motivated children, a hardworking and committed team of teachers and support staff, a Governing Body who know, challenge and support the school along with a community which shares and contributes to our values and ethos. Additionally, the school has recently had a very positive Ofsted Inspection in May 2022.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a candidate with previous experience at a senior leadership level and who can demonstrate effective whole school management while being an outstanding communicator.
