The Governors and Samuel Ward Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a determined, experienced and inspirational Headteacher for Houldsworth Valley Primary Academy, who has recently joined the Multi-Academy Trust.

Houldsworth Valley Primary offers education for children ages 4 to 11 years, and is situated in the heart of Newmarket surrounded by large playing fields. The Academy offers spacious, light learning environments, and an extensive range of resources. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to continue upon the schools’ improvement on their journey to ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’. With the strong support offered by the Trust, the school has a bright future under the right leadership.

Alongside the exciting opportunity at Houldsworth Valley, they are also currently expanding the school, which is due to complete by September 2017. This new building will be equipped specifically for Science and IT and will also offer further classrooms to support the expansion. The school already offers large classrooms of around 25 children, and a purpose-built food technology area for KS2 pupils.
