The Governing Body of this Outstanding Specialist Support School are looking to appoint an experienced Headteacher/Head of School who has the vision and skills to take the school forward, dedicated to ensuring that the school remains one to be PROUD of.

Camberwell Park Specialist Support School has 145 children on roll between 2-11 years who have a range of learning difficulties and disabilities. The school is proud to be an Investor in People (Gold). The school is currently housed over two sites and is oversubscribed

Plans are in place to expand the school in terms of a new building at the Moston site which will house pupils from the current Belthorne site and increase overall pupil numbers. 

We are seeking to appoint a Passionate, experienced and visionary special school Headteacher who is Respectful of range of needs of the pupils at the school and is Organised in how they work in order to meet the needs of the children and their families, has a full Understanding of special school leadership and is Dedicated to ensuring Camberwell Park remains a school to be PROUD of.

Our current Headteacher is retiring at the end of the school year.

In line with the school’s policy for Performance Related Pay, successful applicants would need to evidence that they meet the National Standards of Excellence for Headteachers.

Shortlisting: 9th March 2020 (Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email)
Interviews will be a two-day process: 23rd and 24th March

Interested applicants are invited to visit the school by appointment on either Tuesday 25th or Friday 28th February at 1pm. This will be an opportunity to visit both sites with the current Headteacher and School Business Manager.
